Meet the Teacher!
Hello! My name is Mrs. Kristin Tam. I live in Washington, DC with my husband and my very lazy, lazy dog Waylon.
I graduated from Frostburg State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. I than went back to school and earned my teaching certificate. I am currently taking classes through Drexel University to receive my Masters of Education Degree. I have been teaching for 5 years. During that time I have worn many different hats. Those hats include long term substitute, resourse teacher, tutor, second grade assistant, fifth grade teacher, and lastly a second grade teacher. This will be my third year as a second grade teacher at St. Ambrose. I love it!

Favorite book: The White Oleander
Favorite children's books: Henry and Mudge series, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, Smelly Socks, All the SkippyJon Jones books, Harry Potter, Chocolate Fever.
Favorite teams: Washington Redskins and the Wizards. They may not be the best, but I still love them! Go Team go!
Ways I like to spend my free time: I love reading books! I like to go running with my husband. My favorite thing to do in the whole wide world is to go out to eat and maybe catch a movie.
